I woke up this morning to my dad banging on my door telling me to get my camera gear. Grumbling and rolling out of bed, I put on a t-shirt, grabbed my camera bag, and walked outside to the beach where I took this.

Enchanting 118/365
We did a decent amount of hiking in Bali. I really never expected to see waterfalls with such little human influences present. Completely untainted with the exception of a dirt trail, this waterfall was well worth the trek.

The man who taught me everything 115/365
This is my dad. He's pretty much me in 39 years. At the age of 60, he still surprises me with the things he does. Mountain biking, scuba diving, + the fact he can probably still kick my ass... I can't say that I'm not proud.
On the Edge 114/365
Was hiking near some crazy cliffs in Bali. Saw this monkey eating something on the edge of a 300+ft cliff.
Tea 112/365
Saw this pretty cool looking tea pot in a bazaar in Bali and poured myself a glass of bokeh.
Stand Guard 111/365
Balinese art is always interesting. It seems like the entire island is an artisan of some sort. Saw this at a Hindu temple in Bali.
The Death of a Photographer 108/365
Refer to photo #107 if you don't understand this post.
So this is #107's mom... She wasn't too happy her child was getting pissed off because of me and I'll just say that I took this while running away from this BAMF haha.
Shoo 107/365
Ok, this little fella comes with a pretty interesting story. Not impressed with paparazzi, he was pretty angry and tried clawing my lens. Monkey + $1200 Nikon 17-55 f/2.8 = NO BUENO, thank you Hoya UV filter.
Having a Bad Day 105/365
Another monkey I photographed during my trip. I was able to get close enough to them while they were grooming each other and snap a few shots.
Shy 104/365
Monkeys are seriously the funnest things to photograph. It's really freaky how much emotion they can portray in their facial expressions. I had a chance to photograph lots of the monkeys that roam all over Indonesia this trip and it's really been a pleasure.
Zoom 103/365
The moped, the most badass thing ever to transport man. No jk not really but they're like the most common form of transportation in Indonesia and cause the worst traffic congestion ever.
Farewell 101/365
It's a bittersweet farewell to Southern California... I really didn't anticipate the things that happened prior to the trip but in the end these are the experiences that make life pretty amazing.
It's nice to be home
Enjoy
P.S. I missed you Iris :]
